This article is about new discoveries on Jupiter's moon Io and volcanic surfaces on this moon. They have found that Jupiter's moon Io is volcanically active, this research has been going on for about 400 years, since Galileo himself discovered Io. It has been shown that Io has undergone significant change in the past few years due to volcanic activity. Read on to get more information on this ground breaking event.

Newborn stars are like baby chickens pecking their way out of a shell. As these infants stars grow, they bathe the cloud surrounding them in strong ultraviolent radiation. This vaporizes the cloud, creating beautiful sculpted shapes in the cloud.

Visible light corresponds to a wavelength range of 400 - 700 nanometers and a color range of violet through red. Our eyes are not capable of seeing radiation with wavelengths outside the visible light spectrum. The visible colors from shortest to longest wavelength are: violet, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. Ultraviolet radiation has a shorter wavelength than the visible violet light. Infrared radiation has a longer wavelength than visible red light. The white light is a mixture of the colors of the visible spectrum. Black is a total absence of light.

Information on Solar Flares:
Solar flares intesify the solar wind, which makes the ionosphere thicken and strengthen. When this happens, radio signals from earthe aare trapped inside the ionosphere. This causes a lot of interference. As discussed above, solar activity can also be a problem for satellite operations.
